Just like your natural teeth
Dental implants are a great option for people with missing teeth because it’s the most natural thing we can do to replace something that’s gone. It doesn’t affect any other teeth in their mouth. We’re not supporting it like a bridge that goes from one tooth to the other. They’re very successful long-term. You know, dental implants have been placed for the last 20-30 years at over a 95% success rate in healthy individuals.
It’s safe, it’s predictable, and it’s most like what we originally had. And once the dental implant has been placed, most of the time, if it’s a single tooth, a patient won’t even realize a year later that they’re missing a tooth. It feels exactly the same, for the most part, of what they once had. There’s many things that are removable from the mouth, whether it’s dentures or partial dentures, that don’t have the ability to chew the same types of food, or as strong or as well, as a dental implant, because it’ll function just like your tooth once did.
It gives patients a confidence to be able to eat what they wanna eat and to smile how they’re used to smiling without worrying about something looking different, or feeling different.
